Carlos Moreno is a Franco-Colombian professor and researcher, specialized in the fields of innovation, smart cities, eco-districts and sustainable development. He is also known for developing the concept of the « 15-Minute City », which proposes creating cities where all daily needs of residents would be accessible within 15 minutes by walking or public transport. Carlos Moreno is a university professor at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and scientific director of the Institute for Sustainable Cities. He is also involved in numerous research and innovation projects worldwide, as well as initiatives to promote more sustainable and inclusive urban development.
